Our range of crawler systems is designed for large-diameter pipe and drain inspection, available to buy or hire, and fully supported by our in-house workshop. From compact crawlers for smaller relined pipes to heavy-duty units built for large mains, each system features CAN bus technology, steerable all-wheel drive and a quick-change wheel lock for fast adaptation on site.
Crawlers
CPL150S
A mid-size crawler with manual elevator, built for pipes from 150mm upwards. The perfect companion to the RMPL250 reel, offering the same professional-grade quality and accuracy as our mainline crawlers.
CRP90
A compact, motorised crawler capable of surveying relined pipes as small as 90mm, with the camera centring in pipes up to 225mm in diameter – massive capability in a miniaturised package.
CRP140
A sophisticated mid-size crawler for pipes from 140mm up to 600mm, with a motorised elevator for larger diameters. Also available in an ATEX Zone 1 compliant version for hazardous environments.
CRP300
A heavy-duty crawler built for larger pipe diameters and high flow rates, handling pipes up to 2200mm with the optional elevation platform. Features a dual-axis inclination sensor for monitoring changes over longer inspections.

A pan-and-rotate camera compatible with Proteus Systems, Proteus Lite and SOLO PRO+, giving you a versatile camera head that works across multiple system types.

An axial camera compatible with Proteus Systems, offering a straightforward, reliable camera option for mainline crawler inspections.

Reels
RMPL250
A compact, space-saving cable reel and the core of the Proteus Lite system. Fitted with 250m of Kevlar-reinforced cable, with a manual cable layering arm and friction brake for smooth, controlled pay-out and rewind.
RAP300
A motorised cable reel with 350m of Kevlar-reinforced cable, built for easy one-person operation. Features a powerful three-phase motor and a safety screen to prevent contact with the cable while coiling.
ACR350
A fully automatic cable reel with 350m of cable, designed for the CCTV inspection van market. Offers powered winding in both directions, synchronised with the crawler, with a safety screen and emergency motor stop button.
Control Units
MCU312
Minicam’s next-generation control unit, featuring a 12″ sunlight-viewable touchscreen, two integrated control pods with joystick and dedicated keys, and IP65 protection against dust and water. Backwards compatible with all SOLO PRO+ and Proteus crawler systems.
VCU/VKU500
A screenless rack-mounted control unit (VCU500) paired with an ergonomic desktop keyboard (VKU500), purpose-built for van-fit installations. Compatible with any combination of Proteus and Proteus Lite reels, cameras and crawlers.

BPP24
A lithium-ion battery pack providing up to 5 hours of runtime, giving you the freedom to power the system in locations without easy access to mains electricity.
PTP04
A portable trolley for housing the control unit and cable reel, making it easy to transport the system to hard-to-reach or remote inspection locations.
